At-Last Fibromyalgia Mystery Finally Solved!

Many physicians thought that fibromyalgia disease was ‘’imaginary’’ or ‘’physiological’’. The enigma of fibromyalgia has left millions of sufferers searching for rosiness in pain medications. Researchers were trying to find the main source of fibromyalgia and they found that it does not stem from the brain. At last, doctors found the mystery that this disease is conjured in the patient’s imaginations. But scientists have now revealed the main source of fibromyalgia; that is the pain stems in the excess blood vessels of the hand, the most unlikely place.

A nerve fiber, called arteriole-venule (AV shunts) in extremely very high amount was found in the skin samples of the hand of fibromyalgia patients and it was found via the skin sample from the hand of a patient whose skin was zeroed in, and it was found that this patient had a lack of the sensory nerve fibers causing a reduced reaction to pain. This discovery led to new treatments and perhaps even a total cure in the future, bringing relief to as many as 5 million Americans thought to have the disease.

Scientists have discovered that there is a direct relation between these nerves and the widespread body pains that fibromyalgia patients feel. Before this discovery, scientists thought that these fibers were only responsible for regulating blood flow and did not play any role in the pain tingle.

Along with widespread deep tissue pain, fibromyalgia patients also suffer from debilitating fatigue. The lingering question that why many sufferers have extreme levels of pain in the hand and as well as in the tender point all over the body and why cold weather seems to aggravate the symptoms.

Previously it was thought that these nerve endings were only involved in regulating blood flow at a subconscious level but now we had evidence that these blood vessel endings could also contribute to our conscious sense of touch and pain.

Dr. Frank L.Rice (Neuroscientist)

The mismanagement of blood flow could be the source of muscular pain and achiness. Fatigue was thought to be the result of a build-up of low levels of lactic acid. This all in turn could contribute to the hyperactivity in the brain.

Millions of sufferers even by using the current treatment to overcome the disease have not found relief. A simple piece of advice will help a lot in fighting the disease, ‘’get more sleep and exercise regularly’’. On the other hand therapies including narcotic pain medicines, anti-seizure drugs, and anti-depressants also help cure the disease. Now fibromyalgia patients are moving towards an eventual cure because its mystery has been solved.

Whenever something doesn’t fit in their tiny little understanding, they belittle the patient and tell them that they are crazy, was said in the answer of the question by a commentator,  ‘When are they ever going to figure out that the things are never ‘’ all in your head? People have suffered through this since they were invented, Prescribing SSRIs for everything is not the answer any more than a hysterectomy and a lobotomy were.

All over the world, the patients suffering from fibromyalgia are rejoicing that the mystery of fibromyalgia has been finally solved and the announcement to unlock the better future treatments has potential in it.

  3. Edmunds says:

Please be great if someone could fix this it’s so painful.

  4. Kimberly says:

Now who believes this? Would this not be published in some infamous medical journal? I’m skeptical for sure.

  5. Kim says:

I’ve never read this anywhere. If this were the case you’d think more Drs would be made aware through medical publishing. I still think it’s all guess work. All last year everything I read said it was the brain. This Dr Frank should quote a reliable source for this theory.
