This article explains the stress/crash part of my Fibro experience. Even when it is a joyful occasion, like a family get-together, there is a physical price to pay. I learned to “rest” around these occasions, before and after events, and to just arrange for it. Pacing my work and projects and learning to say “No”, took time and practice. And giving myself permission. I have had fibro for nearly 30 years, but got my event timing figured out. Listening to my body and resting when I need to, as well as not pushing myself double time on a good day. I didn’t have to work outside of my home, so I was blessed to be able to function around my fibro experience. For those who haven’t been so blessed, my prayers go out to you for angels to uplift you and help you. May they be, first of all, your own family, neighbors, and friends.
